From the get-go, I knew we had to have Charcoal soap as part of our collection. Beyond the intense media attention charcoal has garnered over the years, the undeniable advantages of incorporating charcoal into soap were apparent. 😍🧼

The glaring question of which type of charcoal and how much of it were we to use was another matter. There are different versions of Charcoal soaps that you can buy in the market, some of which I am sure are good too. But ours is unique in that we use charcoal that is sourced from coconut shells that have a slightly larger grain size than is usually used in skincare. Consequently, our soap functions as both a deep cleanser, owing to its absorbent properties, and a mild scrub, courtesy of the grain size. It's like a double bonanza. 💪🥥

Our rendition on the Charcoal Soap also gives it a striking jet black hue. While the phrase may be used in a different context, I can't help but think it holds true here too - once you go black you never go back! 😉🖤
