Story Behind The Product

This soap was born out my love for Chamomile Tea, and is meant to capture the serene calm I feel when sipping a cup after a long day. When I first made these soaps just for myself, I made them with yellow dried Chamomile flowers layered on top - outright gorgeous! 😍🌼 It continues to be how I make chamomile tea soaps for my favourite people! 🌿🍵😊

As I began to craft them for Purple Sage, I learnt that we couldn't keep the dried flowers on top. The flowers on top made the shape irregular and handling was difficult with the flowers falling off. So I did the next best thing, I took the flowers left over from the tea, dried it again and added it to the soap batter. Every so often, this version too causes us trouble, but the unique imperfections it lends to each soap makes keeping it in worth it. Sometimes, we have to discard soaps because the flowers get caught in the cutters and take away a chunk of the soap with it. Yet, we've chosen to keep the flowers in, with the distinctive black centers of the chamomile blooms - I think of them as "kala tikas" that only attract good energy! ✨🌼🌿
